About this project
Style and design:
This forged bed has a classic design that suits traditional, rustic and vintage interiors. The decorative elements in the headboard and frame are bent by hand. They give the bed a light, elegant appearance and show the care that went into making it.
How it is made:
- Traditional forging: Each component is shaped by hand at the forge and on the anvil using traditional blacksmithing techniques. This gives the bed its distinctive appearance and a strong frame designed to stay steady and quiet.
- Corrosion protection: The metal components are hot-dip galvanised for long-lasting protection. The zinc coating forms a barrier against corrosion and helps extend the life of the bed.
- Surface finish: A powder-coated finish gives the frame its colour and adds a protective layer. Choose standard white or black, or a copper, gold, green or silver patina.
Technical specifications:
The standard frame fits a 140 cm x 200 cm mattress. We can make it to other dimensions on request. The price excludes the mattress support.
