Frequently asked questions — Wrought-iron balusters
All forged balusters are made from certified weldable structural steel, including S235JR. They can be welded directly to sections, handrails and railing straps without a risk of cracking.
Yes. The steel is supplied unfinished, degreased and prepared for anti-corrosion processes: hot-dip galvanising, cathodic electrocoating (KTL), and powder or spray painting.
Catalogue balusters are typically 900–1000 mm long. The finished railing height, openings and fixings must be selected to suit the design and the regulations applicable at the installation site.
We offer smooth balusters with decorative features such as bellies, baskets and twists, as well as sections with engraved edges in an artistic metalwork style.
