Forged steel flat bar with decorative forged impressions is a versatile component for artistic metalwork and general fabrication.

Technical characteristics:

• Material: Structural steel with decorative details formed by traditional hand forging.
• Base dimensions: 30 x 5 mm, with decorative forged impressions spaced every 190 mm.
• Craftsmanship: Each flat bar is shaped by a blacksmith, heating the steel in the forge and working it with a hammer and anvil. This process creates a distinctive texture and an authentic crafted appearance.

Optional finishes are available to improve durability and appearance:

• Corrosion protection: We recommend hot-dip galvanising, which creates a thick, durable zinc coating to protect steel against corrosion in changing weather conditions. The component is immersed in a bath of molten zinc.
• Surface finish: After galvanising, powder coating can be applied. Electrically charged powder particles are deposited on the surface and then cured at a high temperature. This produces a smooth, even coating with good resistance to mechanical damage, UV radiation and weathering, available in a wide range of colours.

Supplied in lengths of up to 2 metres; the standard length is 2000 mm unless another length is specified.
