About this component
A straight forged baluster with a central openwork basket and twisted sections of bar. This traditional decorative pattern is supplied as a component for fitting to stair railings, handrails, fences and driveway gates. Sold in bare steel without paint or galvanising so it can be welded straight away. Arrange corrosion protection, including hot-dip galvanising, and any powder coating or patination separately once the entire assembly is installed.
