About this project
This outdoor lantern is an architectural light made from forged steel. Its slender post and decorative details draw on classic outdoor lighting designs.
Manufacture uses traditional blacksmithing methods. Steel is hand-shaped with an anvil and forge hearth, giving each piece an individual crafted character and a strong structure.
Two protective surface treatments provide weather resistance and durability:
- Hot-dip galvanising: Immersion in molten zinc creates a durable metallic coating for long-term corrosion protection.
- Powder coating: Heat-cured powder gives an even decorative finish in a selected colour, black as standard, with added mechanical and chemical resistance.
Dimensions and finish details can be adapted to your specifications. The lamp is intended for paths, driveways and formal areas of gardens, parks and residences where appearance and durability matter.
