About this project
This three-arm forged pendant fitting with lantern shades combines traditional blacksmithing with modern protective treatments for interiors requiring a refined decorative accent.
Each metal component is hand-shaped from hot steel at the anvil and hearth. Traditional forging produces a sturdy structure and individual crafted details distinct from mass production.
Two protective surface treatments provide durability and resistance to external exposure:
- Hot-dip galvanising: Steel components are immersed in molten zinc to create a durable, metallurgically bonded coating against corrosion for long service life.
- Powder coating: Applied after galvanising and oven-cured for an even decorative finish with added resistance to mechanical wear, UV and moisture. A broad range of colours and effects, including patina, can be selected.
Styling:
Classic lanterns and traditional blacksmithing inspire the design. Three arms end in lantern shades with frosted glass to distribute the light evenly. Precisely curved bars and decorative scrolls highlight the craft and complement manor-house, rustic and Neoclassical interiors.
Customisation includes dimensions, arm count, shade type and detailed finishes, including powder-coat colours and patina effects. We make individual designs to suit your architectural and decorative requirements.
