About this project
This wrought driveway gate features intricate classic blacksmithing with Art Nouveau influences in its flowing curves and botanical motifs. Each component is traditionally hand-forged hot at the anvil and forge, creating individual character and strong joints.
All gate components are hot-dip galvanised for long-term corrosion protection. Immersion in molten zinc forms a durable metallic coating that protects the steel from weather exposure and rust.
Powder coating provides the final finish. Electrically charged powder particles are applied to the metal and cured in an oven at high temperature. The even, smooth coating resists mechanical damage and UV radiation and comes in a broad colour range to suit the surroundings.

Structural fixing
High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
