Form and character

About this project

Solid panels and asymmetric divisions

Large rectangular surfaces form a restrained asymmetric composition. Narrow vertical and horizontal gaps divide the panels, giving the solid leaves a clear rhythm. The graphite finish pairs well with pale stone, concrete and simple house forms.

The more enclosed infill limits views into the property while retaining the gaps that define the geometric design. The same divisions appear in the pedestrian gate shown. Close-ups reveal panel edges, joints and the fine texture of the finish.

Manufacture and fitting

We make the steel gate to measure and protect it with galvanising and powder coating. Leaf divisions, gap layout and colour are agreed during design. The large infill area means posts, fittings and any automation must be selected for the gate dimensions and local wind conditions.

Guide price and quotation

The guide price covers 1 linear metre of gate up to 1.5 m high at the post, including galvanising and powder coating.

The final quotation accounts for the dimensions, leaf arrangement, fittings and installation conditions. We confirm the scope of the pedestrian gate, fence panels and automation individually when the order is placed.

From concept to installation

How your project takes shape

  1. Site survey and design

Site survey and adaptation to the ground profile.

  2. Forging and welding

Hand-forming steel in a traditional forge and fitting the gate leaves.

  3. Galvanising and painting

Immersion at 450°C (ISO 1461) plus oven-cured powder coating.

  4. Installation and automation

Resin anchoring without welding at the customer’s property.

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.

What determines the price?

The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
