Form and character

About this project

This driveway gate has classic styling inspired by artistic blacksmithing. Every decorative element, from delicate scrolls to pointed finials, is hand-forged from solid material using traditional forge and anvil techniques.

The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:

  • Hot-dip galvanising: Immersion in molten zinc forms a durable protective coating bonded to the steel, providing long-term corrosion protection.
  • Powder coating: The final finish provides an attractive appearance and an additional protective barrier. Available in a broad RAL colour range, it resists mechanical damage and UV radiation.

Installation avoids on-site welding to protect the joints from local corrosion. The gate is prepared for secure mounting using expansion fixings, chemical anchors or metal anchors. Swing, sliding and bespoke versions can be made to meet individual architectural and design requirements.
