Form and character

About this project

This double-leaf wrought driveway gate combines classic elegance with sturdy construction. A subtle arch along the tops of the leaves creates a refined, timeless appearance suited to architecture from traditional homes to contemporary minimalist buildings.

Traditional artistic forging hand-shapes the steel at the anvil and forge. This gives each component the individual texture and strength of handcrafted work. Careful detailing supports an attractive appearance and lasting service life.

  • Corrosion protection: hot-dip galvanising

Each component is immersed in molten zinc, creating a thick, metallurgically bonded protective coating. It provides lasting resistance to atmospheric and chemical corrosion, extending service life and reducing frequent maintenance.

  • Surface finish: powder coating

After galvanising, powder paint is applied electrostatically and cured in an oven at high temperature. The even, smooth, durable coating resists scratches, UV radiation, weather and mechanical damage. A broad colour range allows coordination with individual architectural preferences.

Precise installation uses expansion fixings, chemical anchors or metal anchors. On-site welding is avoided to help prevent local corrosion and preserve the protective coatings. Integration with swing-gate automation is available for added convenience and security.

From concept to installation

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
