Form and character

About this project

This wrought driveway gate has classic styling with subtle Rococo-inspired details, balanced flowing lines and symmetry. It complements traditional architecture with an elegant, refined appearance.

A craft blacksmith traditionally forms every decorative component by hand-bending, twisting and forge-welding steel at the forge and anvil. This creates individual, precise artistic details with strength and resistance to stress and deformation.

Hot-dip galvanising forms a thick zinc layer bonded to the steel, providing lasting corrosion and weather protection and reducing maintenance needs.

After galvanising, the carefully prepared surface receives powder coating. The even, attractive finish resists mechanical damage, UV radiation and changing weather and comes in a broad colour range to suit the surroundings.

Swing and sliding versions can be made to individual space and functional requirements. We also work from customer specifications to suit the property and integrate with existing gate automation.
