About this project
This wrought pedestrian gate reflects traditional artistic craftsmanship with durability and appearance in mind. Classic forms and rich ornamentation include intricate scrolls and forged finials. The arched top adds elegance in keeping with the surrounding architecture.
Traditional hand forging is carried out by skilled craftspeople. Steel is heated at the forge and precisely shaped on the anvil, giving every gate carefully crafted, individual details.
The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:
- Hot-dip galvanising: Immersion in molten zinc creates a thick, durable metallic coating. It provides comprehensive corrosion protection by shielding the steel from environmental exposure for lasting rust resistance.
- Powder coating: After galvanising, powder paint is applied and cured in an oven at high temperature. It provides an attractive finish with increased resistance to scratches, abrasion and UV radiation, helping retain colour and appearance.

Automation-ready design
Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).
Structural fixing
High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
