About this project
This double-leaf wrought driveway gate combines sturdy construction with a nature-inspired rustic appearance. Intricate woodland motifs, including stylised climbing vines and a carefully crafted central stag silhouette, create a distinctive, personalised design.
Production uses traditional blacksmithing techniques. Every component is hand-shaped at the forge and anvil, giving the steel individual details, texture and the characteristic strength of artistic forging.
The first protective stage is hot-dip galvanising. A durable coating covers the steel surfaces to protect against corrosion and weather exposure, supporting long-term appearance and structural stability with less frequent maintenance.
Powder coating adds another protective layer and the selected finish. It resists mechanical damage, UV radiation and changing weather while helping retain colour intensity and a smooth surface. A broad RAL palette allows coordination with individual preferences.
The gate is fitted to its supporting posts using expansion fixings, chemical anchors or metal anchors. Installation avoids on-site welding, helping prevent local corrosion and preserve the protective coating for stable, long-term use.
Bespoke projects allow dimensions, styling and decorative motifs to be adapted to the architectural and design requirements of the property. Swing and sliding configurations can also be adapted for gate automation.
How your project takes shape
Site survey and design
Site survey and adaptation to the ground profile.
Forging and welding
Hand-forming steel in a traditional forge and fitting the gate leaves.
Galvanising and painting
Immersion at 450°C (ISO 1461) plus oven-cured powder coating.
Installation and automation
Resin anchoring without welding at the customer’s property.
Construction details
Hand-forged steel
Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.
Surface protection
Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.
Automation-ready design
Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).
Structural fixing
High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
What determines the price?
The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
