Form and character

About this project

This double-leaf wrought driveway gate reflects classic artistic craftsmanship with rich Baroque-inspired ornamentation. Sturdy steel components are traditionally hand-forged at the anvil and forge for individual details and a carefully crafted finish.

Skilled blacksmiths carefully shape every ornament, from intricate volutes to stylised finials. Balanced proportions and details such as decorative balls and embossed features create a coherent, representative entrance.

The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:

  • Hot-dip galvanising: A thick zinc layer provides lasting corrosion protection, including in demanding outdoor conditions. The process covers recesses and welds to protect the complete assembly.
  • Powder coating: Applied after galvanising, it creates an attractive finish resistant to mechanical damage. The available colour palette coordinates with the property architecture while improving mechanical and UV protection.

The gate is fitted to its supporting posts using expansion fixings, chemical anchors or metal anchors. Installation avoids on-site welding, helping prevent local corrosion and preserve the protective coating for stable, long-term use.

From concept to installation

How your project takes shape

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.

What determines the price?

The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
