About this project
This double-leaf driveway gate has rich ornamentation inspired by classic Baroque and Rococo patterns. Intricate spirals and S-scrolls are made through traditional hand forging. Steel is heated at the forge and hammer-shaped on the anvil, giving each detail individual character and strength within a sturdy structure.
Hot-dip galvanising provides lasting weather protection. Steel components are immersed in liquid zinc at approximately 450°C. The specified zinc coating is at least 70 micrometres thick, forming a corrosion barrier that supports long service life and reduces frequent maintenance.
After galvanising, powder coating completes the finish. Powder particles are applied electrostatically to the metal and cured in an oven at high temperature. The coating resists mechanical damage, UV radiation, corrosion and chemicals while providing an even surface with a deep, lasting colour suited to varied architectural settings.
The gate is designed as a double-leaf swing system. It mounts using chemical or metal anchors without on-site welding, helping prevent local corrosion at fixings. The construction can integrate with gate automation for convenient use, and dimensions and ornamentation can be adapted to the individual project.
How your project takes shape
Site survey and design
Site survey and adaptation to the ground profile.
Forging and welding
Hand-forming steel in a traditional forge and fitting the gate leaves.
Galvanising and painting
Immersion at 450°C (ISO 1461) plus oven-cured powder coating.
Installation and automation
Resin anchoring without welding at the customer’s property.
Construction details
Hand-forged steel
Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.
Surface protection
Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.
Automation-ready design
Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).
Structural fixing
High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
What determines the price?
The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
