Form and character

About this project

This modern geometric steel sliding gate is made from quality steel sections. Artistic blacksmithing heats the steel at the forge and shapes it on the anvil for an individual appearance and mechanical strength.

The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:

  • Hot-dip galvanising provides lasting corrosion protection. Immersion in molten zinc at approximately 450°C forms a durable protective coating. This protects the steel from weather exposure and extends service life.
  • Powder coating provides an attractive final finish. Powder paint is applied and cured in an oven. The finish resists abrasion, UV radiation, chemicals. A broad RAL colour range is available.

The gate is bolted to expansion fixings, chemical anchors or metal anchors. On-site welding is avoided to prevent coating damage and local corrosion. Sliding and swing versions can be made, with optional automation integration.

From concept to installation

How your project takes shape

  1. Site survey and design

Site survey and adaptation to the ground profile.

  2. Forging and welding

Hand-forming steel in a traditional forge and fitting the gate leaves.

  3. Galvanising and painting

Immersion at 450°C (ISO 1461) plus oven-cured powder coating.

  4. Installation and automation

Resin anchoring without welding at the customer’s property.

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.

What determines the price?

The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
