About this project
This residential wrought pedestrian gate combines traditional blacksmithing with practical function and a refined appearance.
Classic ornamentation includes hand-shaped spirals, twisted bars and decorative lower components. Every detail is shaped hot on the anvil for individual character and strength.
The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:
- Hot-dip galvanising by immersion: A durable zinc coating covers the steel surfaces for comprehensive, lasting corrosion protection.
- Powder coating: Applied after galvanising, it provides an attractive, protective outer finish resistant to mechanical damage and UV radiation. Optional patination highlights the forged character.
All fixings and fittings, including the decorative handle, are also metal, harmonising with the design for visual consistency and practical function.

Automation-ready design
Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).
Structural fixing
High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
