Wrought driveway swing gate with classic detailing

This wrought driveway swing gate is based on traditional artistic blacksmithing. Hand-forged scrolls and stylised botanical motifs provide the decoration. Diamond lattice infill reinforces the gate and side sections while reflecting traditional craftsmanship.

The gate is made using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Each component is hand-shaped at the forge and anvil, giving every piece its own character, durability and mechanical strength.

The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:

• Hot-dip galvanising: Immersion in molten zinc forms a durable protective coating bonded to the steel, providing long-term corrosion protection.
• Powder coating: After galvanising, the gate receives a powder coating cured at high temperature. It produces an even, attractive finish resistant to mechanical damage, UV radiation and the weather.

The gate is secured with expansion fixings, chemical anchors or metal anchors, without on-site welding. This preserves the protective coatings and helps prevent local corrosion. The construction is prepared for straightforward integration with a swing-gate automation system.
