About this project
This quality steel wrought driveway swing gate combines classic styling with precise construction. Its substantial structure and carefully integrated, hand-shaped ornaments create a timeless, refined appearance.
Traditional blacksmithing shapes every decorative component individually on the anvil using the forge. This gives the forged joints individual character, strength and structural integrity.
For corrosion resistance, all components receive hot-dip galvanising. Immersion in heated zinc forms a durable protective coating that provides lasting protection against weather exposure and rust.
The final surface finish is powder coating. Powder paint is applied electrostatically and cured at high temperature, creating an even, smooth coating resistant to mechanical damage and UV radiation.
Durable chemical or metal anchor fixings avoid the need for on-site welding, helping prevent local corrosion at mounting points and preserve the protective coating.

Structural fixing
High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
