Form and character

About this project

This wrought swing gate reflects classic blacksmithing suited to traditional residential architecture. Carefully crafted rich ornamentation draws on classic and Baroque patterns to create an eye-catching property entrance.

Every component is traditionally forged hot. Skilled blacksmiths work the metal at the anvil and forge, giving the construction the individual character, strength and durability of handcrafted metalwork.

The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:

  • Hot-dip galvanising: The assembly is immersed in liquid zinc at around 450°C, forming a durable metallic coating. It acts as a corrosion barrier protecting the steel against rust and demanding weather.
  • Powder coating: Powder paint is applied electrostatically after galvanising and cured in an oven at high temperature. The smooth, even, scratch-resistant finish comes in a broad colour range and adds protection against UV radiation and mechanical damage.

Together, the craftsmanship and protective treatments provide lasting durability, security and an attractive appearance.

From concept to installation

How your project takes shape

  1. Site survey and design

Site survey and adaptation to the ground profile.

  2. Forging and welding

Hand-forming steel in a traditional forge and fitting the gate leaves.

  3. Galvanising and painting

Immersion at 450°C (ISO 1461) plus oven-cured powder coating.

  4. Installation and automation

Resin anchoring without welding at the customer’s property.

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.

What determines the price?
