Form and character

About this project

This driveway swing gate combines artistic craftsmanship with practical function. Sturdy forged steel and natural timber infill form a coherent design with classic ornamentation.

Each steel component is traditionally hand-forged at the anvil and forge for distinctive, strong joints and decoration. Skilled blacksmiths carefully shape details such as scrolls, leaves and stylised motifs.

The gate receives a two-stage protective treatment for long-term weather and corrosion resistance:

  • Hot-dip galvanising: A durable zinc coating covers the steel surfaces, providing long-term corrosion protection.
  • Powder coating: An even, attractive finish in the selected colour increases resistance to mechanical damage and UV radiation.

Designed as a double-leaf swing gate, it provides a sturdy, representative property entrance, combining traditional blacksmithing with contemporary expectations of durability.

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).
