About this project
This forged garden bridge is a landscape feature for crossing water features or dry stream beds. Richly decorated railings combine hand-forged botanical motifs with intricate scrolls characteristic of artistic metalwork.
Traditional artistic forging shapes the steel at the anvil and hearth for precise, individual details. Dimensions and appearance can be adapted to your requirements, including botanical patterns such as climbing roses or ivy.
The following surface treatments provide durability and weather resistance:
- Hot-dip galvanising: Immersion of the steel in molten zinc creates a durable coating for long-term corrosion protection.
- Powder coating: Heat-cured powder creates a hard decorative surface in a selected colour, resistant to mechanical wear and weather.
- Patination: Included at no extra charge on the forged details to highlight their depth and give an antique appearance.
The price covers one linear metre of bridge, excluding base costs. Manufacture, galvanising and powder coating are included.
