Technical and structural specifications:
This grilling system combines traditional artistic blacksmithing with practical construction. The tripod and decorative details are hand-forged at the anvil and hearth for an individual crafted finish.
- Grate: Diameter 70 cm, made from unfinished steel without chemical coatings on the cooking surface.
- Tripod: A stable, sturdy structure made from 20x20 mm hollow sections. Pointed feet allow positioning on lawns or hardstanding, according to the conditions of the site.
- Fire bowl: Holds the fuel beneath the suspended grate. Its position and ground protection must suit the conditions for using an open fire.
- Height adjustment: A dedicated winch smoothly adjusts the grate height over the heat, allowing the cooking intensity to be matched to the food.
- Assembly and mobility: Straightforward assembly and a folding tripod make transport and storage easier.
Corrosion protection and surface finishes for the individual components must be agreed before manufacture, taking account of heat at the fire bowl and parts near the flames. The grate is supplied as unfinished steel without chemical coatings. The coating type and extent on other components require confirmation when ordering.
