About this project
This decorative forged grapevine letterbox combines classic design with Neo-Baroque and naturalistic details. Traditional blacksmithing shapes its carefully crafted decoration.
Hand-forging steel at the anvil and hearth gives each component individual character and durability. Intricately curved scrolls and realistic vine leaves reflect the work of an artistic blacksmith.
A two-stage surface treatment protects against corrosion and supports long service life:
- Hot-dip galvanising: Immersion in molten zinc creates a durable metallic coating against rust, moisture and weather.
- Powder coating: After galvanising, powder coating provides an even decorative finish with resistance to scratches, UV and weather, adding a further corrosion barrier. Different colour options are available.
