Form and character

About this project

These fence panels combine traditional artistic metalwork with a practical boundary enclosure. The classic design pairs straight lines with hand-forged spear tops, twisted bars, scrolls and rosettes.

Each element is made using traditional blacksmithing techniques. The steel is heated in a forge and then shaped on an anvil to create individual details and a strong structure.

The forged components receive two protective finishes. First, hot-dip galvanising immerses the steel in molten zinc to form a bonded protective coating. This layer provides long-term corrosion protection against rust and moisture.

The second stage is powder coating. Powder paint is applied electrostatically to the galvanised surface and then cured in an oven. The result is a smooth, even finish with increased resistance to scratches, UV radiation, fading and harsh weather. A wide range of RAL colours is available.

Construction and technical features:

  • Solid construction: Solid forged steel components provide stability and resistance to deformation.
  • Careful finishing: Each detail is finished with care to retain the character of the metalwork.
  • Installation: Designed for fitting without on-site welding, usually with mechanical or chemical anchors. This reduces the risk of corrosion at the joints.
  • Lasting protection: Hot-dip galvanising and powder coating work together to protect the steel structure.
From concept to installation

How your project takes shape

  1. Site survey and design

Site survey and adaptation to the ground profile.

  2. Forging and welding

Hand-forming steel in a traditional forge and fitting the gate leaves.

  3. Galvanising and painting

Immersion at 450°C (ISO 1461) plus oven-cured powder coating.

  4. Installation and automation

Resin anchoring without welding at the customer’s property.

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.

What determines the price?

The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
