Form and character

About this project

This wrought-iron panel fence has a contemporary architectural style, with clean lines and horizontal sections. It integrates with masonry piers and plinths to create a coordinated frontage.

Each component is carefully worked using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Shaping the steel at the forge and anvil provides strength and a distinctive crafted appearance.

Corrosion protection and surface finishing are applied as a coordinated system:

  • Hot-dip galvanising: Metal components are immersed in molten zinc, forming a protective layer with sufficient thickness for long-term corrosion resistance, including in demanding weather.
  • Powder coating: After galvanising, powder paint is applied and cured in an oven. It forms a durable, even coating resistant to mechanical damage, UV radiation and chemicals. A broad RAL colour range allows the finish to be matched to the project.

Fence panels are installed without on-site welding, using mechanical or chemical anchors. This helps preserve the protective coating at the connections.

From concept to installation

How your project takes shape

  1. Site survey and design

Site survey and adaptation to the ground profile.

  2. Forging and welding

Hand-forming steel in a traditional forge and fitting the gate leaves.

  3. Galvanising and painting

  4. Installation and automation

Resin anchoring without welding at the customer’s property.

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.

What determines the price?

The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
