Form and character

About this project

Style and construction:

This fence panel has rich, nature-inspired ornamentation. Intricately forged leaves and climbing vines wind around the vertical bars, creating an organic, balanced composition. Decorative forged finials finish the top edge, while a stylised pinecone on the post reinforces the classic crafted appearance. Solid steel sections provide stability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Manufacture and finishing:

  • Traditional artistic forging: Each decorative leaf and vine is formed by hand at the forge and anvil, creating individual details and textures beyond a mass-produced appearance. Forging shapes the metal and develops its structure and strength.
  • Hot-dip galvanising: The complete assembly is immersed in molten zinc, forming a durable metallic protective coating. This layer separates the steel from the weather and provides long-term corrosion protection.
  • Powder coating: Fine powder paint is applied to the galvanised steel and cured at high temperature. The coating resists scratches, UV radiation, chemicals and changing weather, and provides an even finish in the chosen RAL colour.

These processes support a lasting appearance and reliable service over many years.

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.
