Form and character

About this project

This forged fence panel features detailed botanical ornamentation. Hand-forged leaves and climbing vines create flowing, open forms that complement classical and Art Nouveau architecture.

Each element is hand forged using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Experienced craftsmanship at the forge and anvil shapes the steel into individual, durable details.

The panel is hot-dip galvanised for corrosion protection:

  • The steel structure is immersed in a heated bath of molten zinc.
  • A durable protective coating forms a metallurgical bond with the steel and provides long-term corrosion protection.
  • The process protects both the outer surfaces and the inside of hollow sections.

The final finish is powder coating, which provides a decorative surface and further protection against outdoor conditions:

  • Powder paint is applied electrostatically to the prepared surface.
  • The components are then heated in an oven to melt and cure the coating.
  • The even finish is highly resistant to mechanical damage, UV radiation and changing weather.
  • A wide choice of RAL colours allows the finish to suit the architecture and the customer’s preferences.
From concept to installation

Material and craftsmanship

Construction details

Hand-forged steel

Certified weldable S235JR / C45 steel. Traditional forge forming and precise fitting of components.

Surface protection

Hot-dip galvanising (PN-EN ISO 1461, coating thickness 70–85 µm) plus electrostatically applied polyester powder coating in your chosen RAL colour.

Automation-ready design

Reinforced structural sections and pre-installed conduits for drive systems from leading brands (FAAC, Nice, Somfy).

Structural fixing

High-load chemical anchors. No welding on site preserves the intact galvanised coating.

What determines the price?

The price depends on the clear opening dimensions, material thickness and infill density, ground profile, opening mechanism and selected automation system.
