About this project
Structure and style: This railing combines classic Art Nouveau styling with organic forms. A detailed climbing vine is the central motif. Sturdy side posts topped with decorative balls support a rigid frame. The infill combines closely intertwined forged scrolls, hand-formed vine leaves and realistic three-dimensional grape clusters.
Manufacture and craftsmanship: All botanical details, including textured leaves and grapes, are made by traditional open-die forging at the forge hearth. Bars and flat sections are textured to resemble tree bark. Structural welds and traditional forged collars join the components.
Corrosion protection and finish: The railing is hot-dip galvanised in accordance with PN-EN ISO 1461 for outdoor corrosion protection, then powder-coated in deep matt black. Optional hand-applied copper, gold or silver patina highlights the sculptural details.
