Form and character

About this project

This decorative forged grapevine railing is made using traditional artistic blacksmithing, with organic Art Nouveau styling. Both the supporting structure and decorative components are hand-formed from hot steel. Clearly veined leaves and three-dimensional grape clusters give the composition depth.

Technical and structural specifications:

Material: Selected structural steel with good forgeability.
Corrosion protection: Hot-dip galvanising in accordance with PN-EN ISO 1461 for protection of the steel outdoors.
Surface finish: Deep black powder coating, with hand-applied green, copper and bronze patina on the botanical details.
Handrail: Profiled, hot-forged steel flat bar with a decorative scroll end.
Fixings: Face-mounted system anchors or direct anchoring into the tread, selected for the structural properties of the substrate.

The railing combines a light appearance with a distinctive crafted character. It complements grand staircases and the façades of prestigious residences.
