Form and character

About this project

Patinated ornaments on dark steel

Gently curved balusters bring movement to the regular rhythm of the railing. Round rosettes and smaller scroll ornaments sit between them, highlighted with a golden-toned patina. The dark frame maintains a restrained outline, keeping the decoration distinctive yet orderly.

In the installation shown, the railing surrounds a corner balcony against a light-coloured façade beneath a warm-toned roof. Views from inside the balcony show the bar spacing and the way the handrail follows the corner. The patina shade can be matched to the other metal details of the building.

Manufacture and customisation

We make this design to measure, agreeing the height, rosette proportions and division into sections. The steel components are powder-coated, with decorative patination applied to selected ornaments. Corrosion protection and the installation method are agreed according to the outdoor conditions and the balcony structure.
